Pierceton Woods Academy is Lifeline's residential facility for youth who have been removed from their home and placed with Lifeline through placing agencies such as the Department of Correction, Department of Child Services or Probation. While they are at Pierceton Woods Academy, they are learning lifelong skills.
One of these skills that the student is able to immerse themselves in is woodworking. The student is able to be creative and learn technical skills to work with wood in order to create aesthetically pleasing and functional structures, from mini houses to picnic tables, adirondack chairs, sandboxes, end tables, swings and more!
