We offer undergraduate internships for select Human Services degrees. Students serve as a homemaker/parent aid and are involved in tasks geared towards entry level social work. Tangible experiences include connecting clients to community resources and documenting supervised visits, as well as teaching parenting techniques, conflict resolution, setting boundaries, and developing communication skills.

Our goal is to build a team of competent clinicians who are passionate about fulfilling our mission of changing hearts and bringing hope to individuals, families and communities for years to come. We accomplish this through a well-developed, best-in-class field instruction program for students pursuing a Master’s degree with a focus in social work or counseling. We offer a well-rounded internship experience where students receive real-world practice, clinical experience and exposure to the industry and like-minded colleagues. Our interns receive guidance and oversight by quality field Instructors with opportunities to grow and expand within our organizations.

Our internship program is targeted to students requiring an advanced clinical internship. Students receive a concentration of complex case management referrals with a strong clinical focus. Examples include substance use, relapse prevention plans, relationship building, roots of parenting issues, along with utilizing motivational interviewing and trauma-focused behavioral therapy techniques.
